by Wednesday\, 10/4 at 12pm.\n\nThe October TRAC Seminar Series on “Com
putational Models in TB” is presented by the Bioinformatics\, Modeling &
  Biostatistics Core<https://tbcenter.jhu.edu/trac/core-programs/bmb/>.\n\n

he spectrum of pulmonary tuberculosis”\n\n[A person wearing glasses and

ch Fellow\nLondon School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine\n\nAlex Richards
is a research fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicin
 e. She completed a PhD in mathematical modelling of tuberculosis\, aiming
to understand the natural history of tuberculosis infection and disease th
rough the use of historical and contemporary literature. Her current resea
rch includes using modelling to further understand the natural history of
disease\, the effects of treatment and the impact of gendered differences
in TB.\n\n“Infectious & clinical TB trajectories: Bayesian modeling with
case finding implications”\n\n[A person smiling at the camera Descript
 ion automatically generated]\n\nTess Ryckman\, PhD\nInstructor\, Division
of Infectious Diseases\nJohns Hopkins School of Medicine\n\nTess’s resea
rch includes the use of mathematical modeling\, economic evaluation\, and
policy analysis to inform infectious disease programs and policies and she
d light on disease natural history and transmission. She is primarily focu
sed on tuberculosis epidemiology and policy and has a particular interest
in prevention and active case finding interventions.\n\nJoin via Zoom - **
