 ndez Morfin\, MD\, MPH\, is a senior research Assistant in the Infectious 
 Diseases Department at Johns Hopkins University\, School of Medicine. She 
 received her medical degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara in Mexico 
 and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the National Institute of Ped
 iatrics in Mexico. She continued her training at Johns Hopkins School of P
 ublic Health to earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and B
