  School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. at the 1st Faculty of Medicine
 \, Charles University\, Prague\, and post-doctoral training at the Nationa
 l Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases\, NIH\, Bet
 hesda\, Maryland.\n\nThe main interest of Dr. Kovarova's research is focus
 ed on the development of long-acting formulations for treatment and preven
 tion of HIV\, TB\, and other infectious diseases. This includes nanopartic
 les\, nanosuspensions\, and In Situ Forming Implants (ISFI) technology. In
  addition\, Dr. Kovarova has expertise in a field of preclinical evaluatio
