 chool of Medicine\n\nAhizechukwu Eke\, MD PhD MPH is an Associate Professo
 r and Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine research within the Division of 
 Maternal Fetal Medicine\, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the J
 ohns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree
  from the University of Calabar School of Medicine in Nigeria\, and comple
 ted 2 residencies in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Univers
 ity College of Medicine\, Nigeria and Michigan State University respective
 ly. He continued his training at Harvard University to earn a Master of Pu
 blic Health (MPH) in Health Policy & Management. Dr Eke completed a dual F
 ellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at the John
 s Hopkins University School of Medicine\, and finished a PhD in Clinical I
 nvestigation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. He i
 s quadruple-board certified (in Obstetrics & Gynecology (x2)\, Clinical Ph
 armacology\, and Maternal Fetal Medicine).\n\nHis research interests inclu
 de understanding the pharmacokinetics (PK)\, pharmacodynamics (PD)\, pharm
 acoepidemiology\, pharmacogenomics\, and pharmacomicrobiomics of drug use 
 in pregnant women. He has been working with the International Maternal Ped
 iatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Network (IMPAACT) as principal inve
 stigator and co-investigator for numerous pharmacokinetic drug studies in 
 pregnant women. Dr Eke has served the American College of Obstetricians an
 d Gynecologists (ACOG) in numerous leadership positions. He currently serv
 es on the ACOG National Clinical Guidelines Committee\, and on several oth
 er national and international OBGYN committees\, including an Editorial Bo
 ard member of Obstetrics & Gynecology (the Green Journal) and the National
  Academy of Sciences\, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM’s) committee for 
 addressing legal\, ethical\, regulatory\, and policy issues for research s
 pecific to pregnant and lactating persons. Dr Eke has over severalPubMed c
 ited peer-reviewed research publications\, and has won several teaching an
