The JHU TRAC is launching a new Pod Mentorship program. This pilot program will involve groups of 4-5 trainees from TB research groups and labs at JHU and pair them with 2 senior mentors. This program seeks to provide mentees the opportunity for both peer and faculty mentorship outside of their existing mentorship team and academic network. The topics and format are fluid and will be tailored to the needs of the pod with support from the JHU TRAC network and services.
Who? JHU affiliated TB trainees, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty.
What? Interdisciplinary pods of 4-5 early career TB investigators will be paired with 2 senior mentors. Mentorship will focus on multidisciplinary topics including career development and scientific areas of interest.
Where? In-person and online based on the needs and preferences of the participants.
When? Launching in Spring 2025. Pods will meet at least every 2 months. Mentees are asked to commit to participate for at least one year.
