Specific Aims Lightning Round

Specific Aims Lightning Round

The JHU TRAC organizes sessions for junior investigators to present and receive feedback on a developing research idea.

The Specific Aims Lightning Round Session will consist of a round table discussion where a early stage investigator will present his or her specific aims to a group of 6-8 peers as well as 1-2 senior investigators. The presenter should be prepared to provide a brief background of the grant concept and then should allow the group ~5 minutes to review the specific aims. The group will then discuss the proposal’s strengths and offer feedback for the remainder of the session.

We plan to hold sessions throughout the year in collaboration with the Hopkins CFAR.
