Dr. Gupte is Assistant Professor of Global Health at Boston University. His research is focused on the intersection of infectious and chronic lung diseases in low- and middle-income settings. Dr. Gupte leads several NIH funded studies to describe the epidemiology and pathogenesis of lung injury in TB/HIV, measure its impact on poor clinical outcomes, and identify therapeutic and programmatic interventions to improve post-TB lung health and longevity.
